Three steps to the real you

Seven minutes, five traits, and a result you'll recognise the moment you read it.
1
Answer honestly
Fifty quick statements, the kind you can answer on instinct. No right answers, no trick questions. Just how much each one sounds like you.
2
See your five traits
We map where you land on the Big Five, the five dimensions that shape how you think, how you connect, and how you handle a hard day.
3
Meet your archetype
Your traits point to the one archetype that fits you best, each one drawn from 145,388 real people. You get a portrait that reads like someone who truly knows you, not a horoscope.

Real science that still feels like you

Most tests make you choose between the two. You shouldn't have to.
Real science
Built on the Big Five, the model academic psychology relies on, not the 70-year-old typology a novelist dreamed up for a magazine.
Genuinely beautiful
A result worth reading, and worth sharing. Calm, specific, and yours. The opposite of a cluttered quiz buried in ten ads.
Built on real data
Ten archetypes drawn from 145,388 real profiles and checked against nearly a million more. These types held up in the data. We didn't dream them up.
Yours, and private
We never sell your answers, and your scores stay on your device unless you choose to save them.

Built on the Big Five

Every archetype is a blend of five traits psychologists have measured for decades. Your result shows exactly where you land on each.
The honest part
We took 145,388 real Big Five profiles and asked one honest question: how many kinds of people are there, really? Sixteen didn't hold up. Ten did. The whole method is out in the open, so you can read exactly how your archetype is built, where it's strong, and where it isn't.

Big Five vs MBTI vs 16personalities

If you've taken a 16-type test, you already know the feeling: the result is fun, but the science feels thin. Archetype keeps what you loved and fixes what you doubted.
Measures five real traits on a spectrum, not four either-or letters
Types come from real data, not a theory written in the 1940s

Questions people ask first

Is the test really free?
Yes. The test, your full archetype, and your trait breakdown are free — no paywall. You can optionally create an account to save it across devices.
Do I need an account?
No. An account is optional and only exists to save your result and sync it between your phone and laptop.
How long does it take?
About seven minutes. It's 50 short statements you rate from “not me” to “that's me” — no writing, no timers.
Is it actually accurate?
It's built on the Big Five, the most validated framework in personality psychology, scored against real population norms and clustered from 145,388 profiles. No test is destiny, but this is about as evidence-based as a seven-minute test gets.
What's the Big Five (OCEAN)?
Five broad dimensions — Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism (emotional style) — that decades of research find capture most of what makes personalities differ. We translate them into plain language on your result.
How is this different from 16personalities or MBTI?
MBTI-style tests sort you into 16 types from a 1940s theory and force every trait into an either/or letter. We measure five traits on a spectrum and match you to one of ten archetypes the data itself produced. You keep the “I'm The Diplomat” payoff, on a foundation that holds up.
Is my data private?
Your answers and scores stay on your device unless you choose to save them to an account. We never sell your data, and we don't need your e-mail to show your result.
So, which one are you?
Seven minutes, five traits, and one archetype that finally fits. Free, and yours to keep.
